Some of you have been waiting for this. Anna Sasaki will like that she’s being referenced again. …Just because of that, I won’t reference her in this post. (…wait a minute…)
So Prom was AWELICIOUS! =P There was dancing, go-kart racing, a chocolate fountain, a ton of games, and so much more stuff! …This is still not worth the price of admission for Matt Sasaki.
…Oh yeah, our Prom was at K1 Speed. For the uninformed, it’s this EXTREME go-kart place. Not your average Boomers, I can assure you.
So my group consisted of me, my date Megan, Sean, Tiffani, Shruti, Alec, Cory, Sophie, Jacob, Rianne, Devin Marcus, Elizabeth, Francis, and Lauren. Very very fun.
We took pictures by RSM Lake, ate at BJ’s, took a limo to Prom, and partied like there was no tomorrow!
It was also my first time trying out the go-karts at K1 Speed. They are a LOT faster than the normal ones! I was totally going to win, but I got side-checked by Parshan while taking a turn and my entire kart spinned around! See, that’s what happens when you leave your unlimited supply of turtle shells at home. …And lightning bolts. (Megan actually ended up beating me on that one. Looks like it’s ME who must brush up on my Mario Kart skills.)
It was also fun to see my two friends Michael Peterson and Tiffany Goncalves be crowned king and queen! I was totally rooting for them. …Well, I was also rooting for Alec, but no one could be his queen, so it really wasn’t going to work out that well. Sorry Alec! (He secretly doesn’t care.)
I had a lot of fun on the dance floor! Mostly because Megan was into it too. =P She was actually a lot more…pro-active than I thought she was. Like I thought I would be the one initiating things, but she totally took control. I guess I always imagined her to be more passive? Well, I guess that’s me now. …and now I just posted this on a public blog. Cool. Meh, this post is probably going to be so long that no one will read this far. …So I think I’m safe here.
Afterwards, since we still had the limo guy rented til 3:15, we headed down to Class 302, a restaurant known for its shaved ice and boba. It was REALLY REALLY good! I would totally go back there. =D
And there you have it. Prom. Loads of fun and filled with lasting memories. Good memories. I really have to thank Megan, half because her mom planned out all of the stuff, and half because she was a wonderful date. It wouldn’t have been that much fun without her. =) <>
